Typical Me: A Music Video

I've been working closely with Typical Me, a R&B and Neo Soul inspired band, for quite some time now. They're brilliant musicians and genuinely good people to be around. I truly believe in their music and foresee many great victories on their path as a band.

So, after shooting some shows and live acts, we've decided that would be a good idea to shoot a music video for an upcoming song. A few weeks back, we shot it on an old centenarian palace in Guimarães (Portugal). It's expected to be released next Fall.

It's a song about love, pains and obstacles.

Theatre Fest

I was the photographer for the “XIII Festival de Teatro - Terras de Camilo”, a theatre fest that took place in Vila Nova de Famalicão between February and May of 2019.

It's not my usual type of work, but I really enjoyed doing it. I realized it requires a certain type of patience to wait for specific occasions that envelop a few variables - like the right facial expression, at the right light for each and every actor in time sensitive moments, as some parts of the story are more important than others.

A Thing for Sunsets

When I created my instagram page a few years ago I thought it would become a place for dropping mere behind the scenes snapshots of video shoots. It ended up becoming none of that, instead I developed this thing for sunsets and I can’t really pinpoint why. There’s is something freeing and democratic about shooting something that happens everyday.
